The Village of Morrice is governed by its village council which is comprised of seven voting members. Six trustees and 1 president. The council is assisted by the village clerk, deputy village clerk, village treasurer and the village building inspector.

The village is also a part of Perry Township.

According to the United States census of 2000, Morrice had a population of 882. We had 316 households and 232 families residing within the village.
