Village Roots CSA - South Village Garden

Behind the South Acworth General Store, 123A
603-835-2243

We grow over 100 types of vegetables and emphasize diversity in our shares. Each week we provide 8 to 20 different vegetables and herbs for each share, with a mix of traditional favorites (beans, peas, tomatoes, squash) and more unusual heritage veggies and herbs. CSA shareholders are able to choose their own produce from a farmers' market style stand, and can exchange veggies with others at the pickup sites.

Village Roots CSA uses organic practices to grow a mix of heirloom, open-pollinated, and heritage produce for our Acworth, Alstead, and Grantham-based CSA (community supported agriculture, similar to subscription farming). From our beautiful riverside location, we provide the freshest vegetables possible from spring through fall.

Visitors are welcome to enjoy the garden throughout the season (usually May to October) and produce can be ordered or bought from the garden through our CSA throughout this time.
