Walker High School has been at its current site since 1976. Walker High is located in Livingston Parish, about 30 minutes outside Baton Rouge, La. There are currently 1160 students enrolled at Walker High. There are 88 faculty and staff members. There are six halls and two gyms: Glen Ellis and Raymond Dugas. The 100 Hall is reserved for Freshmen.

The mission of Walker High School is to develop lifelong learners by providing learning opportunities that meet the academic, emotional, and social needs of all students in a safe environment.
