Waverly Church of Christ exists to equip, empower, and encourage everyone to do God’s will, which includes loving and presenting the indescribable gift of Jesus Christ to the world.

We have sincere love for those around us, wanting all to enter Heaven.  We consider it a privilege to communicate love to everyone, not just those who are members, but also to those who are currently outside our congregation.

We strive to follow Jesus and His teachings as best we can.  We seek to cut through centuries of traditions and doctrines of men by getting back to the Bible as our sole guide for our worship and a successful spiritual life.  We love to study God’s Word in our assemblies.  Such an emphasis is key to a better understanding of who Jesus is, what He has done for us, and is central to the production of faithful and mature Christians.

Our desire is to provide a place where people can grow in their faith and develop meaningful relationships with others.  We are here to assist people in their personal and spiritual growth by helping them to discover who God created them to be and what He has called them to do.
