One of the top amenities in Wellington is the Wellington Public Library, located just west of Eyestone Elementary School in the Wilson Leeper Community Center. 3800 Wilson Ave. In June 1979, thanks to several dedicated individuals, the Wellington Public Library opened with a few hundred donated books.

Following a move in 1980 to two small offices in the Leeper Center and major expansions in 1992 and 2003, the Library now covers 4500 square feet and includes a wonderful gas fireplace, the perfect location for reading on a cold winter day.
