The annual West Louisiana Forestry Festival begins the 1st Wednesday in October and includes a carnival, livestock show, vendors, food, and much more.

The West Louisiana Forestry Festival Queen, Teen, and Junior King & Queen Pageants are held on the Saturday before the Forestry Festival.
