321 Village Road East
609-716-5000

West Windsor-Plainsboro Regional School District serves the central New Jersey municipalities of West Windsor and Plainsboro, diverse suburban communities of approximately 42,000 residents. The townships are located midpoint between the metropolitan areas of New York and Philadelphia, and contain one of America's leading research centers, serving as home to such technological leaders as the David Sarnoff Research Center, Merrill Lynch, and FMC Corporation. The area has been recognized in several publications as one of the top suburban communities in the area.

Because of the influence of the high number of well-educated professionals residing in the area, West Windsor-Plainsboro School District reflects the lifestyle of a community that takes pride in its continuing tradition of academic and cultural achievement. An educational environment that motivates students to learn and requires them to exercise imagination and sensibility in solving problems abounds. The richness of its academic programs, alternative options, and extracurricular activities expands learning beyond classroom boundaries. Approximately 9,400 students are motivated and inspired daily by the 1,450 faculty and staff in the district. The academic and cultural resources of West Windsor and Plainsboro have attracted a dedicated and highly trained instructional staff, which welcomes the challenges and excitement of a diverse student population.

At the onset of the school year, ten schools will serve our students. Four elementary schools - Dutch Neck Elementary School, Maurice Hawk Elementary School, Town Center Elementary School at Plainsboro, and Wicoff Elementary School - accommodate Kindergarten through Grade 3. All children in Grades 4 and 5 attend the Village School or Millstone River School. Students in Grades 6, 7, and 8 are assigned to one of two middle schools - Community Middle School and Thomas R. Grover Middle School. Two high schools serve students in Grades 9 through 12.

Our district maintains that a partnership between the school community and the business community creates a positive force in furthering the educational excellence offered in our schools. As a result, we have been quite successful in attaining several advantageous liaisons with area businesses. At the same time, we are constantly striving to communicate with our diverse population to develop public trust, confidence, and support.
