WNC Fernley has served area residents with high quality college education for more than 20 years. Since 2004, WNC Fernley has greatly expanded course offerings. The Center offers students both general college courses that lead to associate degrees and certificates, as well as career preparation classes. Fernley students can now complete a one-year certificate or a two-year Associate of Arts/Science degree through web classes, video, and on-site classes.WNC Fernley staffs an instructional center featuring an updated computer lab with 14 stations and an interactive video room. The college also offers classes at Fernley High School and at local businesses.Many WNC Fernley students are adults seeking job skills or an upgrade in their careers. Others are high school students who take advantage of dual-credit college classes offered at Fernley High School each school year. Craft classes have also become quite popular with active older adults.
