About Us:
The Westmoreland Players is a non-profit amateur theater group located in the Northern Neck of Virginia. The organization, formed in 1979 in Westmoreland County, Virginia, is dedicated to providing the citizens of the Northern Neck and surrounding areas with enjoyable theater programs. In the fall of 2000 the group purchased their own home, Westmoreland Players Theatre, located in Callao, Virginia in Northumberland County. In the summer of 2005 the group was named the Best Community Theatre in Virginia by the readers of Cooperative Living magazine! Active participants and audience members travel from all over the Northern Neck and Middle Peninsula to join in the fun. New members are always welcome!
