About Us
Located in Culver City, the Westside Youth Orchestra’s goal is to provide a well-rounded orchestral experience to musically dedicated young musicians between 8 and 18 years of age. Orchestra members learn the art of ensemble playing, sight reading, music theory, performance, and the language of music. Westside Youth Orchestra members prepare for each concert season utilizing the vast library of orchestral literature from the Baroque, Classical, Romantic, Contemporary and Film Score repertoire. Most importantly, our young musicians take pride in their enjoyment of making music together! Concert season performances are at Actors’ Gang Theater, Culver City.
