Wilber's Northside Market

2407 Marshall Street

2011 will be our 4th CSA season and it seems like we just started yesterday. We have a website that provides info for members and we also send out newsletters and recipes. We also have a Facebook Page that we update regularly. We will have shares picked up at the farm once a week on Tuesdays(full) and Fridays(half). We grow sweet corn, tomatoes, eggplant, onions, cucumbers, peppers(hot and green), cabbage, kohlrabi, green beans, strawberries, melons, zucchini, several varieties of squash, pumpkins, gourds, sugar snap peas, lettuce, radishes, beets, chard, and plan on doing some herbs and taking suggestions from members as well. Members are welcome to hang out and explore and help too.

My husband has always dreamed of being a farmer and living off the land. When we moved out to the country we realized he could do what he loves and make a living at it too. I have always been the "outdoorsy" type so I love helping him. Our kids like to be outside and see how things grow. We have been growing on our small acreage and rented ground for several years now. We just purchased 15 acres that we were renting in 2010 and are excited to finally OWN that field. We also purchased a high tunnel in 2010 so 2011 should be a fun year. We sell produce at the Boone Farmers Market and at a stand at our house out by the road. We love to meet people and show them how good fresh home-grown produce can be.
