We are a terrific school located on the southern edge of Ravenna. We are one of four buildings in Ravenna City School district that houses elementary children in grades one through four.

Willyard currently has about 300 students.

In 1974, Willyard opened its doors to children in Kindergarten through sixth grade. The building was named in horor of E.G. "Bus" Willyard, who served on the Ravenna Board of Education for 15 years until he retired in 1960. Harvey Warner was the first principal of Willyard and stayed in that position until he retired in 1993. Diana Kentner moved into the principal's office at that time and became the building's second principal
