About Us:

The Wood River Rotary Club was founded in 1929. In 2009-10, the Club celebrates its 80th anniversary! Our club sponsors annual college scholarship awards to East Alton - Wood River and Roxana High School seniors; operates a "Junior Rotarian" program; co-sponsors our new Interact Club at EAWR High School (along with the East Alton Rotary Club); has an "Adopt-A-Highway" program; and contributes regularly to the Boy Scouts, Habitat for Humanity, local elementary schools, "Operation Blessing" (a local food and used clothing charity).
