Mission Statement

The Woodbury United Methodist Church is a dynamic, loving, faith community committed to serving Jesus Christ in the world.

We believe in a Creator and creative God who, through the gift of grace, calls us to serve our Lord in an ever-changing and interdependent world.

This mission is lived out through activities that focus on the poor in heart, the disenfranchised, the hungry and the lost.

Our commitment to become the hands and voice of the Word is strengthened through worship, study, and active involvement in the shared life of fellowship in Christ.

People of all ages, cultural heritage and lifestyles are welcome to enter the open doors of our church, homes and hearts.

The church facility is an instrument to be used in active service to the children, youth, adults and older persons of our community.

We seek to make the "good news" of the Gospel come alive in our midst through our relationships, the growth and nurture of our membership, and service to others as we endeavor to live out our congregation's maxim, "Open Hearts   Open Minds   Open Doors."
