About Us:
Founded in 1919 in Buffalo, New York, USA, Zonta takes its name from the Lakota-Sioux Native American word meaning "honest and trustworthy". Zonta Club of Sanibel and Captiva Islands was founded September 1, 1987 and is part of District 11, Area 6, Club 1186.

Zonta is a non-profit organization and all donations are tax deductible.
