Charles W. Patterson, MD is a plastic surgeon at the University of Vermont Medical Center and an assistant professor of surgery at the Larner College of Medicine.   Dr. Patterson defines himself as detail-oriented, a people person and a perfectionist. He feels fortunate to have found the specialty of plastic and reconstructive surgery, which puts each of these attributes to great use in improving patients’ experiences and outcomes. Whether you are seeking reconstructive or aesthetic surgery – or, as is often the case, both – having a good relationship with your surgeon is critical during what can be a stressful period in your life.   Having the skills and attention to detail necessary for complex surgeries is another critical component to success, and Dr. Patterson feels that he is able to bring both of these elements together to set his patients at ease and provide them with the best possible outcomes.  Dr. Patterson’s published research can be found here.  Learn more about plastic and reconstructive surgery at the UVM Medical Center.
