I chose to become a physician assistant because it allows me to help and interact with people on a daily basis. Developing meaningful relationships with people in the community is my favorite part of this profession. I believe in being proactive versus reactive with my patients. My job is to present patients with the options they have for managing their health. Using the latest guidelines and evidence-based medicine, we can formulate a plan that best meets their needs. Outside of work, I enjoy running, bicycling and camping. My wife and I live in downtown Raleigh, and we enjoy trying new restaurants and exploring parks and greenways in the area. We also have two dogs (Rudy and Nellie) that keep us busy.
