Firecracker 5K:
The Lago Vista 4th of July Council is excited to host the Firecracker 5K run on July 2nd, 2022. Join our community, and let's kick off our Nation's Independence Day weekend by getting our blood pumping and energy soaring while running a beautiful route next to Lake Travis in Lago Vista, Texas.

6:30 a.m: Check-In, Pick-Up
7:15 a.m: Pre-race Announcements
7:30 a.m: 5K Race Start
8:45 a.m: Awards

Monday, July 4, 2022

10:00 a.m: Parade
The Parade will be held on July 4th, 2022, on Dawn Drive.
Float check-in and line up will begin at 8:00 a.m. in the St. Mary’s Our Lady of the Lake Church parking lot.
Dawn Drive will be closed down to traffic at approximately 9:30 a.m.

All parade participants, please take note of the following rules:
No alcoholic beverages are allowed on or in any entry vehicle. No consumption of alcoholic beverages by parade participants will be permitted before or during the parade.
Any music played must be radio edited. This means that it cannot have inappropriate or foul language.
All entries must travel the entire length of the parade. Towed entries must have a properly functioning hitch and safety chains. If you are tossing objects to the crowd, please toss your objects gently and well into the crowd. We do not want to leave candy or goodies in the center of the road. All candy must be individually wrapped.
