The mission of the Lago Vista 4th of July Council, Inc., a non-profit organization is to bring Lago Vista and our surrounding communities three time-honored events to celebrate our great nation’s independence: the Firecracker 5K Race, the Lago Vista 4th of July Parade, and the Lago Vista Freedom Festival, which culminates in the “Lights Over Lago” fireworks show.
