Worship is every Sunday at 10 AM.

A second grant was received from the New York Landmark Conservancy for the preservation of the church, which is a national landmark historical building built in 1838.

The 2010 Pelletreau Award for preservation of a landmark historical building was presented to MIUCC in November 2010 by the Brookhaven-Bellport Historical Society.

The church has a soup kitchen sponsored by the Interfaith Nutrition Network, and a food pantry that helps 600 individuals a month. Volunteers are needed to help distribute food at the food pantry.
